MERRIMACK- Diane L. (Larose) Cunha, 70, a longtime resident of Pittsburg, NH, died peacefully Tuesday, January 3, 2017 at the Community Hospice House in Merrimack surrounded by her loving family.

Diane was born in Nashua on December 5, 1946 and was the daughter of the late Arthur and Therese (Noel) Larose. She was educated in parochial schools in Nashua and graduated with her bachelor’s degree in Education from Rivier College in Nashua.

Diane was employed by Tyler Technologies for the last 15 years as a Senior Implementation Specialists. She was previously the manager of the former Modern Restaurant and Lounge in Nashua for many years and prior to having children, Diane was a teacher in the Nashua School District.

Diane was an avid reader and thoroughly enjoyed the peace and quiet of living in Pittsburg, NH. However she would find herself making many day trips to come visit her "babies", whom she cherished deeply. She was known for her sense of humor and constant professionalism. Despite her quiet demeanor, she was quick with a retort or sarcastic remark, a skill she has masterfully taught her children and grandchildren. Diane loved her family, friends and co-workers and she will be forever missed.

She is survived by her four children, Jennifer Cunha and her fiancé Scott Stanger of Nashua, Kristi Cunha of Nashua, Emily Cunha of Nashua, and Timothy Cunha and his wife Tara-Lynn of Nashua; her two beloved grandchildren, Aubrey and Tyler; as well as her sister Donna Cormier and her husband Robert of Hollis and her brother Gerald Larose and his wife Barbara of North Carolina. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins. Diane was predeceased by her longtime partner Raymond “Butch” Forrest.

The family wishes to extend a heartfelt thank you to her co-workers from Tyler Technologies from across the country for the outpouring of love and support to her and the family during the last month.

Calling hours will be held on MONDAY, January 16th from 10 AM until noon at Anctil-Rochette & Son Funeral Home, 21 Kinsley Street, Nashua. Her service will follow in the Funeral Home at noon. Burial will be held privately in the spring. In lieu of flowers, the family asks donations be made in Diane's honor to the Community Hospice House in Merrimack, NH.
