OBITUARY – DONNA LAFLEUR

NASHUA- Donna M. (Smith) LaFleur passed away December 15, 2017 at the age of 66. She was the beloved wife of David P. Lafleur with whom she shared 5 ½ years of marriage.

Donna was born in Nashua on December 3, 1951. She was the daughter of Maurice C. Smith and the late Jeannette G. (Vaillancourt) Smith.

She enjoyed listening to music, reading, cooking, sewing, and a fun game of backgammon or cribbage. She was a beautiful artist. Professionally, she was an outstanding bookkeeper for many years. She had an adventurous spirit and loved to travel. One of her greatest joys in life was sailing her boar, The Windigo, on Lake Winnipesaukee. She was always a great communicator with her facial expressions, saying so much without a single word. Donna had a very giving and generous heart.

In addition to her husband and father, she is survived by her brothers, David Smith and his wife Catherine of Nashua, Daniel Smith and his wife JoAnn of Pelham, and Duane Smith and his wife Angela of Nashua. Along with her sister, Dolores Pacheco and her husband John of Merrimack; ten nieces and nephews, great nieces and great nephews, aunts, and cousins. She will be deeply missed by all who loved her and she will remain forever in our hearts and the memories that we hold dear.

Her interment was held on December 19, 2017 at St. Louis Cemetery in Nashua, NH.
