OBITUARY – EDWIN A. ‘EDDY’ POTTER JR

NASHUA- Edwin A. “Eddy” Potter, Jr., 32, died unexpectedly at his home on Sunday, July 2, 2017. He is the beloved son of Karen M. and Edwin A. Potter Sr. of Nashua.

Eddy was born in Lowell, MA on October 6, 1984. He attended and was a graduate of Bishop Guertin High School and continued his education at Merrimack College in Andover, MA where he graduated with his Bachelor’s Degree in Biology.

He was employed as a carpenter with the family business Potter Construction.

In his free time, Eddy truly loved being outdoors. He would spend much of his time vacationing at Lake Shore Park on Lake Winnipesaukee where he enjoyed fishing and boating with his family. He was a devoted Red Sox fan.  Eddy will be forever remembered as a caring person with a huge heart. His charismatic personality, sense of humor, and contagious smile made anyone who met Eddy instantly drawn to him and feel comfortable in his presence.   Above all, his most cherished time was spent with his family, especially his two children.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by his two sons, Logan and Lennox Potter and their mother Melissa Turcotte of Merrimack, NH; his brother Justin Potter of Nashua; his maternal grandmother, Doris Bechard of Gilford, NH;  paternal grandparents, Barbara and Donald Potter of North Chelmsford; as well as several aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Eddy was predeceased by his maternal grandfather, Raymond Bechard.

Relatives and friends are invited to his visitation on SUNDAY, July 9th from 2 until 4:30 PM at ANCTIL-ROCHETTE & SON FUNERAL HOME, 21 Kinsley Street, Nashua. His Funeral Mass will be held on MONDAY, July 10th at 10 AM in St. Kathryn’s Church, 6 Dracut Road, Hudson, NH. Interment to follow in St. Joseph Cemetery, Chelmsford.
