Frederick A. Nicosia

NASHUA- Frederick A. Nicosia, Sr., 78, died peacefully Thursday, April 6, 2017 at Southern New Hampshire Medical Center with his family by his side.

Frederick was born in Somerville, MA on January 20, 1939 and was the son of the late Frederick A. and Virginia (Magliulo) Nicosia. He proudly served his country in the United States Marine Corps until he was honorably discharged in 1958.

For over 20 years, he was employed by the Gillette Company in Andover as a manager until his retirement. Prior to working at the Gillette Company, he was employed by Western Electric in Watertown.

In his free time, Frederick had a passion for picking stock market winners, the New England Patriots and enjoyed politics.

Frederick was the proud father of his son who survives him, Frederick "Rick" Nicosia Jr., and his wife Lina of Nashua. He is also survived by his siblings, George, Carol, and Virginia as well as many nieces and nephews.

Frederick was predeceased by his sisters, Florence, and Delores; as well as his former wife Dorothy (Carmody) Nicosia.

Relatives and friends are invited to his visitation on TUESDAY, April 11th from 4 until 7 PM at ANCTIL-ROCHETTE & SON FUNERAL HOME, 21 Kinsley Street, Nashua. His Funeral Service will be held at 6:30 PM in the Funeral Home. Burial will take place at the convenience of the family.
