NASHUA- Henry Hubert Maynard, 89, died peacefully Sunday morning, January 28, 2018 at Greenbriar Nursing Home, surrounded by his loving family. He was the beloved husband of the late Vivian Rita (Guilmain) Maynard who predeceased him in May of 1999 after sharing 49 years of marriage.

Henry was born in Nashua on January 19, 1929 and was the son of the late Joseph P. and Leontine (Dube) Maynard.

For many years, he was employed in the mechanical department for Nashua Corporation until his retirement.

He is survived by his daughters, Diane Martin of Hudson, MA and Theresa Belanger and her husband Paul of Nashua; his grandchildren, Heather Sandler and her husband Saul of Glastanbury, CT, Jennifer Houle and her companion Paul Duclos of Nashua, Jason Belanger of Huntington, NY, Steven Martin and his wife Shelly of Hudson, MA, and Kelly Dickinson and her husband Scott of Westminster, MA; his great-grandchildren, Kayla, Hunter, Travis, Joshua, Max, Abigail, Tyler and Madison. He is also survived by his brother-in-law’s, Daniel Guilmain of Nashua, Rev. Roland Guilmain of Brighton, MA, and Girard Guilmain of Alameda, California; his companion and good friend, Annette McGuire of Nashua; as well as his nephews Timothy Maynard of New Ipswich, NH.

Henry was predeceased by his daughter, Loraine and her husband Walter Houle and his brothers, Roland Maynard and Leo Maynard and his wife Mary.

Relatives and friends are invited to his visitation on TUESDAY, February 6th from 10 until 11 AM at ST. LOUIS DE GONZAGUE CHURCH, 48 W Hollis Street, Nashua. His Funeral Mass will take place at 11 AM in the Church followed by his interment in St. Louis Cemetery, Nashua.
