Jeannine T (Blouin) Desmarais

Nashua, NH- Jeannine T. Desmarais, 74, died Friday, August 12th at the Community Hospice House in Merrimack, NH, with her loving husband Leonard “Lenny” Desmarais by her side.

Jeannine was born February 19, 1942 in Nashua to the late Raoul and Lorette (Lavoie) Blouin.

Jeannine was known to be a hard worker, spending years at Doehla Greeting of Nashua and Sofft Shoe of Hudson. She kept busy during and after retirement volunteering at the St. Johns the 23rd Bingo at The Eagles Wing Hall in Nashua and was a member of the Daughters of Isabella Ladies Guild.  Jeannine loved to knit and crochet; she spent endless hours creating hats, scarves and sweaters for people in need through many local charities in Nashua and touched many hearts in the process.

In addition to her beloved husband, Jeannine is survived by her son John Desmarais and her grandson Elijah Desmarais, both of Nashua.

Arrangements:  There are no visiting hours. A Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, August 20th at 10:00 a.m. in the St. Louis De Gonzaga Church, 48 West Hollis Street, Nashua, NH. Burial will take place on Monday, August 22nd at 10:00 a.m. in the St. Francis Xavier Cemetery, Pine Hill Ave, Nashua, NH.
