Joseph J.A. Dube

NASHUA- Joseph J. A. Dube, 85, died peacefully on Thursday morning, January 11, 2018 at his home, surrounded by his loving family. He was the beloved husband of the late Marily(Nordstrom) Dube. 

Joseph was born in Woonsocket, Rhode Island on April 4, 1932 and was the son of the late Joseph and Clarinthe (Lagasse) Dube. He proudly served his country in the Untied State Air Force until he was honorably discharged in June of 1956.

For 29 years, he was employed as an engineering assistant for Sanders Associates until his retirement.

In his free time, Joseph was a 4thdegree Knight for the Knights of Columbus, Chapter #5472. He was also a secular Franciscan, a member of the Catholic Family of Life as well as the John Baptiste Society. He was also a dedicated parishioner of Immaculate Conception Church in Nashua. Above all, he cherished his time spent with his family. 

He is survived by his four daughters, Janine Wright and her husband Ronald of Lebanon, Maine, Brenda Bathalon of Nashua, Lisa Cockrell of Virginia, and Sharon Dube and her fiancé Bob Gallagher of Pepperell, MA. He is also survived by his 16 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. 

Relatives and friends are invited to his visitation on TUESDAY, January 16th from 2 until 4 and 6 until 8 PM at ANCTIL-ROCHETTE & SON FUNERAL HOME, 21 Kinsley Street, Nashua. His Funeral will be held on WEDNESDAY, January 17th at 11 AM in Immaculate Conception Church, 216 E. Dunstable Road, Nashua. Interment and presentation of military honors to follow in St. Louis Cemetery, Nashua.
