GOFFSTOWN—Marie Rose (Neveu) Boilard, 99, a lifelong resident of Nashua, died peacefully Thursday evening, January 19, 2017 at the Hillsborough County Nursing Home surrounded by her loving family. She was the beloved wife of the late Oscar Boilard.
Marie was born in St. Germaine, Canada on August 11, 1917 and was the daughter of the late Hermaine and Rose (Despault) Neveu.
Marie is survived by her daughter Diane Boilard and long time companion Robert Cudworth; her grandson Richaln J. Leach and wife Renee Leach; her granddaughter Kimberly Leach and partner Hans Christiansen; her great-grandson Richaln C. Leach; her son Gilbert Boilard and his extended family. She is also survived by her sister Jeanne Lessard as well as many beloved nieces and nephews
She was predeceased by four sisters Gracia Neveu, Annette Neveu, Irene Bernaiche, Simone Miller, and her three brothers Alonzo Neveu, Lucien Neveu and Romeo Neveu.
Marie was a communicant of St. Louis de Gonzague Church in Nashua for many years and in her free time enjoyed working on seamstress projects. She obtained her US citizenship in 1950, which she felt was one of her most important accomplishments.
She will be remembered as a gentle soul.
At Marie’s request, no calling hours are to be held. Relatives and friends are invited to her Funeral Mass on Saturday, January 28th at 10 AM in St. Louis de Gonzague Church, Nashua. Interment will follow in St. Frances Cemetery, Nashua. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Marie’s name to Home Health & Hospice Care, 7 Executive Park Dr., Merrimack, NH.
