NASHUA- Martin “Bobby” R. Bernard, 54, died at his home on Wednesday, February 14, 2018.
Bobby was born in Beauceville, Canada and is the beloved son of Pamphile and Rejeanne (Gosselin) Bernard of Nashua.
He was a taper by trade and for many years, he was employed as a Foreman for Union Local # 1887 of the International Union of Painters and Allied Trades District #35.
In his free time, Bobby loved to go hunting and fishing. He also enjoyed playing cards, trips to Mohegan Sun and family gatherings. Above all, Bobby’s most cherished time was raising, mentoring and spending time with his two sons. He was a devoted father, favorite uncle and an exceptionally kind person with a big heart.
In addition to his parents, Bobby is survived by his two sons, Christopher Bernard of Manchester and Cody Bernard of Boston; his siblings, Linda Shepard and her husband Robert of Pelham, Dany Bernard-Lagios of Hollis and her significant other, Donald Theriault of Nashua, and Alain Bernard and his wife Cathy of Derry. Bobby is also survived by his many loving nieces, nephews, grandnieces, and grandnephews.
He was predeceased by the love of his life, Kim Phaneuf.
Relatives and friends are invited to his visitation on SATURDAY, February 24th from 11 AM until 2 PM at ANCTIL-ROCHETTE & SON FUNERAL HOME, 21 Kinsley Street, Nashua. A short prayer service will take place at 1:45 PM in the Funeral Home. Burial will take place at the convenience of his family.
