Nancy L. Damm

Nashua, NH- Nancy L. (Griswold) Damm, 78, died on October 10th, surrounded by her loving family. Nancy was born on October 11, 1937 in Hartford, CT, to the late Valentine and Eleanor “Nellie” (Barkley) McCormack and she was the wife of the late Alfred Damm, Sr. and mother to five children.

Nancy was proud to be a homemaker, taking care of her large, loving family. She was actively involved in their lives and volunteered to enrich the lives of others through her time as a committee leader of the Girl Scouts and by being a volunteer at The American Red Cross.  Nancy enjoyed doing puzzles and was an avid stamp collector, but most of all loved her time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Nancy was predeceased by her great grandchild Aiden.

Nancy is survived by her children Alana Cole of Washington, DC, Beatrice Tokarz and her husband Dave of Yorktown, VA, Debra Grooms and her husband Kenny of Merrimack, NH, Alfred W. Damm, Jr. of Merrimack, NH and Mark Damm of Kerrville, TX; her grandchildren Shannon and Nellie Duval-Grooms of Merrimack, NH, Cassandra Johnson of Yorktown, VA, Jonathan Grooms of Manchester, NH, Michael and Nikkie Pennington of Yorktown, VA, Stephen Damm of Florida, Jennifer Truslow of Newport News, VA and Jarrod Damm of Kerrville, TX; great grandchildren Darci, Erin, Morgan, Shane, Macie, Liam, Autumn, Mason, Madison, Lindsey, Chassidy, Charridy, and Chad; Sisters Merlyn and her husband Don of Belmont, NH and Valerie Bruce and her husband Bob of Arizona; Nephews Eddie Damm of Mystic, CT and Gary Damm of Georgia; Special Life Friend Andra Gawley and a loving mom to her kitty children Nokee, Nora and Nikki.

Arrangements- There will be no calling hours. Graveside services will take place on Thursday, October 13th at 12:00 p.m. in the New Hampshire State Veterans Cemetery, 110 Daniel Webster Highway, Boscawen, NH.  Everyone is invited to meet at the cemetery.
