OBITUARY—NICHOLAS P. DOULOS

MANCHESTER- Nicholas P. Doulos, 92, died peacefully on Saturday, July 29, 2017.

He was born in Nashua, NH and lived in New York City for most of his life. He was the son of the late Philip and Bessie (Andriopoulos) Doulos. He received his education and graduated with his Bachelor’s degree from University State of New York.

 He worked for the Department of Defense, Defense Logistics Agency after proudly serving as a Radio Specialist in the US Army during WWII until he was honorably discharged in 1946.

Nicholas was an accomplished innovator developing new products in the Energy and Material Science Field. He worked on many projects with his life-long friend, Jim Masi.

He loved nature, traveling to Florida and spending time with his sister and niece in New Hampshire. He will be greatly missed.

Nicholas is survived by his sister, Constance Doulos Kouletsis of Bedford, NH, his niece, Paula Kouletsis of Bedford, NH; a brother Charles Doulos; and sister-in-law, Susan Doulos of Cranford, NJ. He was predeceased by his brothers, Arthur Doulos and Andrew Doulos.

Relatives and friends are invited to his viewing on TUESDAY, August 1st at 11:30 AM in St. Philip Greek Orthodox Church, 500 W. Hollis Street, Nashua. His Funeral Service will take place in the Church at 12 Noon with Military Honors to follow. Interment will be in the New Hampshire State Veteran’s Cemetery,  110 Daniel Webster Hwy, Boscawen, NH.
