Raymond Leo Chaput

HUDSON- Raymond Leo Chaput, 69, died peacefully, Friday morning, June 16, 2017 at his home surrounded by his family. Ray was the beloved husband of Martha J. (Lemieux) Chaput.
Ray was born in Nashua on August 28, 1947 and was the son of the late Leo and Adrienne (Fecteau) Chaput. He proudly served his country during the Vietnam War in the United States Navy until he was honorably discharged in 1968.
Prior to his retirement, he was employed as a maintenance mechanic teamster at Anheuser Bush in Merrimack for 25 years.
In his free time, Ray was an avid vegetable gardener and loved to cook amongst his many specialties were his prize winning spaghetti sauce, jams, and pickles. In his younger years, he enjoyed dancing. Above all his most cherished time was spent with his family, especially his grandchildren.
In addition to his wife Martha, he is survived by his two daughters, Lisa Chaput-Lavigne and her husband Keith of Nashua and Amanda Chaput of Hudson; his grandchildren, Max, Harry, and Gavin; as well his many cousins.
Relatives and friends are invited to his visitation on Wednesday, June 21st from 4 until 8 PM at ANCTIL-ROCHETTE & SON FUNERAL HOME, 21 Kinsley Street, Nashua.  A short prayer service will take place at 7 PM follow by presentation of military honors. Burial will take place at the convenience of his family.
