Rita L. (Levesque) Lavoie

NASHUA - Rita L. (Levesque) Lavoie, 88 died peacefully Saturday, February 11, 2017 at St. Joseph Hospital after a period of declining health. Rita was the beloved wife of the late Maurice T. Lavoie who pre-deceased her on March 28, 1998.

Rita was born on April 17, 1928 to the late Leo and Blanche (Aussant) Levesque. Prior to her retirement, she was employed by Doehlas Greeting Cards and Teradyne of Nashua.

She is survived by her two sons Richard L. Lavoie and his wife Paulette T. Lavoie of Hudson, NH and Donald M. Lavoie and his girlfriend Robbie Carter of Duncan, OK, as well as two grandchildren Derek Lavoie of Duncan, OK and Jennifer (Lavoie) Watford and her husband Allen Edward of Droxton, GA, two great grandchildren Jolene and Kasey of Droxton, GA, and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Relatives and friends are invited to her funeral mass on Friday, February 17, 2017 at 9:30 AM at St. Joseph the Worker Parish, 777 West Hollis St., Nashua, NH. Interment will follow at St. Francis Xavier cemetery in Nashua. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her name to: The Marguerite D’ Youville Fund at St. Joseph Hospital, 172 Kinsley St., Nashua NH.
