To Susan, Russell, Jacqueline and extended family,
Debbie and I have had the privilege of raising our family and living across the street from Tom for the past 23 years. There are so many great memories to share I do not know where to begin. I will never forget the time I took a week vacation to build a deck/porch on the front of my house. Tom asked if he could help me build it and of course I took him up on his offer. On the second day of my vacation at about 7am I heard someone in the front of my house clanging tools around etc, I got up out of bed and went outside and sure enough it was Tom with his tool belt on ready to work, he said lets get going we have a busy day if you want to get this done. Before the end of this project I believe I was his helper lol. Tom was always out helping people in the neighborhood, whether it was helping snow blow driveways or anything else that needed to be done. Tom will be greatly missed and I'm sure whoever was lucky enough to have met him, learned something from him. He was a man of many trades and a great neighbor. Tom will be truly missed by all of us.

Sincerely,
Jim, Debbie, Ryan & Jenna Porter

It's with sadness to say goodbye to a dear friend. We had many visits together and laughed that I hooked him like a fish (inside joke). Good night Mr. C

To Susan, Jacqueline and family,
Our hearts are so full of sadness at the loss of your father. He was such a wonderful man - who we were honored to know. My dad loved him so as did we all.
John and I were both able to have good conversations with him several years ago at Aunt Margaret's birthday. We treasure those memories.
We send our sympathy and love.
John and Sue

Tom was my first boss. He enjoyed telling people he had a head full of black hair until i came along. The name in the posting is a personal joke with Tom and me from a trip to Baltimore supporting COBRA JUDY. Twenty-four years after i worked for Tom i retired from the Air Force. That career and any success i enjoyed in it has much to do, i think, with how Tom trained me and others. What i learned from him i hope i paid forward to those entrusted to my care. While Tom trained me for only two years, he influenced me for 37 and counting. He was not just a great boss, but a wonderful person. He welcomed me into his home and family. I don't know what heaven is like, but i do know this; within a month of his arrival, there will be no wiring problems and all the lose door knobs will be tightened.

Tom, you made us smile. I can picture him saying that line over and over about the black vs gray hair. He was truly fond of you. He has probably already strayed from my mom's side to check the end posts of St. Peter's gate thinking they may have been a little off as he flew through.

Susan & Betty Ann,

I always had great memories of your dad and mom while growing up.
Your dad will be greatly missed. They can now rest together.

I will say a prayer for your dad tonight, and think of him always.

So sorry to read of your Dad's passing. He was one of the last of our upstate NY "colony" that got transplanted to NH and MA so many years ago. He and your Mom were a fixture at all the group gatherings. Sincere condolences from me and my brothers.

How sad we were to read in the paper today that Mr. Cronin had passed away. We live around the corner and for many years, while on his walks, and later using his walker, he would always stop to say hi to me and to our little dog. He even introduced us to two of his grand puppies, a jack russel terrier and more recently a fiesty little Yorkie. He was a kind person and it was always a pleasure to see him. God bless him and his family and you have our sympathy for the loss of your wonderful father and grandfather.

To those grieving with us, please know you are in our thoughts and prayers as we are in yours. My sister and I could not have been given a better father and recognize what a special blessing he was. Though we were fortunate to have shared his journey here on earth for so many years it doesn't lessen the intense pain of losing him. Raise a glass and toast my father; the best man I've ever known.
