Thomas Migneault Obituary

NASHUA- Thomas J. Migneault, 71, died peacefully at his home on Wednesday, April 4, 2018, surrounded by his loving family. Thomas is the beloved husband of Diane (Lozeau)  Migneault.

Tom was born on October 16, 1946 in Nashua and was the son of the late Maurice and Gabrielle (Desjardins) Migneault. He graduated from Bishop Bradley School in Manchester, NH and attended St. Anslem College in Manchester for one year.

Tom worked for several years alongside his dad at Canal Street Market on Canal Street in Nashua. Following that he ventured off and owned and operated Party-Time Inc. and Imperial Car Wash at 251 West Hollis Street in Nashua for many years.

He was a Vietnam Veteran who served in the Army Nation Guard, B Battery, 197th Artillery from September 20, 1968 to September of 1969. He was assigned to the 23rd Artillery Group under the 2nd field force during his tier in Vietnam. He was also the Battery Barber.

Tom was a lifetime member of the VFW Post 5791 of Hudson, NH. In his earlier years, he became interested in magic and was the Past President of Black Richard Ring 166 of the International Brotherhood of Magicians from 1978-1980. He enjoyed bringing smiles to children’s faces. Tom’s other interest was fishing. He started at a young age, fishing with his uncles and then as an adult continuing his passion for the sport. Above all, he cherished the time he spent with his family.

In addition to his wife, Diane, he is survived by his children, David T. Migneault and his wife Debbie of Hudson, NH, Jeffrey M. Migneault and his wife Suzie of San Jose, CA, and Keith A. Migneault and his wife Kristen of Hudson, NH; his grandchildren, Samantha and Matthew Migneault of Hudson, NH and Julia and Eli Migneault of San Jose, CA; his sisters, Norma (Migneault) Curulla of Seattle, Washington and Louise (Migneault) Denton and her husband Ronald of Heathsville, VA; as well as several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

In addition to his parents, Tom was predeceased by his brother, Normand Migneault who died at birth.

At Tom’s request, calling hours have been omitted. Relatives and friends are invited to his Graveside Services with Military honors on SATURDAY, April 7th at 10 AM in St. Francis Xavier Cemetery, 32 Pine Hill Road, Nashua. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association, P.O. Box 96011 Washington, D.C. 20090-6011 or at www.alz.org.
