Thomas E. Szadis

BEDFORD—Thomas E. Szadis, 63, died peacefully, Monday, November 6, 2017 at Elliot Hospital in Manchester, NH.

Tom was born in Wilmington, MA on January 25, 1954 and was the son of the late George and Jacqueline (Polvere) Szadis. He attended Wilmington Schools and was a graduate of Wilmington High School, class of 1973.

For many years, he was employed with Rapid Sheet Metal in many capacities.  Tom took great pride in his career and had a passion for the industry.

In his free time, Tom enjoyed working in his yard and tending to his vegetable garden. Other interests included hockey, fishing, and following NE sports teams, to name a few.  Above all his most cherished time was spent with his family. He especially loved creating traditions for his grandchildren that are sure to continue for generations.  

His wit, charm and generosity were unmeasurable.  His legacy will carry on forever in the hearts of his loved ones, remembered always for the many laughs, good times, special moments, and dedication.

Tom is survived by his daughter Kerri Brogan and her husband Chris of Nashua, his son Jeff Szadis of Nashua; his six grandchildren, Morgan Bonilla, Kayla Brogan, Lyssa Brogan, Olivia Szadis, Dakota Brogan, and Cooper Szadis; his two great grandchildren, Sofia Brogan and James Thomas Murphy. He is also survived by his two brothers, George Szadis and his wife Linda of Winthrop, ME and James Szadis of Logan, Iowa; his two sisters Betty Alley and her husband Dan of New Boston, NH and Rose Chase of Wilmington, MA; as well as many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Tom was predeceased by his sister Christine Anderson.

Relatives and friends are invited to his visitation on SATURDAY, November 11th from 12 Noon until 4 PM at ANCTIL-ROCHETTE & SON FUNERAL HOME, 21 Kinsley Street, Nashua.  His Funeral Service will take place in the Funeral Home during the visitation at 3 PM.  Burial will take place at the convenience of his family.
