I knew Mrs. Gabriel from a physician's office where I worked. She was and will be an inspiration to me: Always a smile for everyone, always positive, always with her bag of handiwork and busy hands. One year she crocheted a beautiful afghan for me and one for the Doc. I still use it every winter and will treasure it forever. And you should know how excited she would be when she could visit her daughter and when her daughter visited her. Sincere condolences to her family.

Our deepest condolences go out to your family. Mrs Gabriel was a wonderful neighbor to have. She was a very caring woman and we enjoyed her wonderful baking. May she Rest In Peace.

It sounds like Veronica lead a wonderful life. I had a great deal of respect for her son Richard, who I knew quite well from our playing days at Marshall Field. I know that Richard died at way too young an age and I never had the opportunity to pay my condolences because I lived out-of-state and social media was non-existent. May God bless the Gabriels.

Aunt Ronnie will be missed, she was loved by all. She lived the words at Matthew 22:38,39.
