OBITUARY: IRENE M. (DESROSIERS) BONDONIS
Irene M. (Desrosiers) Bondonis, 92, of Nashua passed away on Monday June 6, 2011 at the Greenbriar Terrace Nursing Home surrounded by her family.
Irene was born in Nashua on September 28, 1918, a daughter of the late Charles E. and Marie (April) Desrosiers. She was the widow of Adam “Soapy” Bondonis who died August 31, 1990.
Irene was a lifelong resident of Nashua and she was educated in local schools. Prior to her retirement, Irene had been employed by the Nashua School Department for 20 years. She loved cooking, reading and especially her cats. Irene was a communicant of St. Louis de Gonzague Church.
Irene is survived by;
One daughter; Diane Kisting of Nashua
One son; Daniel Bondonis of Nashua
Two grandchildren; Dr. Stacey Kisting de Barrientos and her husband Erwin and Jason Kisting and his wife Brittany
One brother; Gerard “Chick” Desrosiers and his wife Nancy of Hollis
A very close family friend; William Perkins of Nashua
Also several nieces, nephews and cousins
SERVICES: Visiting hours will be held on Thursday, June 9, 2011 from 4 to 8 PM in the Anctil-Rochette & Son Funeral Home, 21 Kinsley St., Nashua. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, June 10, 2011 in St. Louis de Gonzague Church, 48 West Hollis St. Nashua at 10:00 AM. Burial will follow in St. Louis Cemetery. |
