Carmen R. (Lachance) Bernier, 72, of Keene, NH passed away on Tuesday, July 19, 2011 at Genesis Healthcare in Keene.
            Carmen was born in Nashua, NH on August 10, 1938, a daughter of the late Henrie Lachance and Lucille (Vailliere) Lachance . She was the wife of the late Donald Bernier who passed away in 2008.
            Carmen was a Licensed Nursing Assistant and was employed by the Mount Carmel Nursing Home in Manchester, NH. Carmen was an avid reader and loved playing Bingo. Carmen was predeceased by one brother, Gerard Lachance.
            Carmen is survived by;
Two sons; David Bernier of Derry, NH and Marc Bernier and his wife Rhonda of Nashua
One daughter; Laurie Reeves and her husband Tony of New Ipswich, NH
Four grandchildren;Tony Jr., Gregory, Timothy and Joshua
Two brothers; Henry Lachance and Maurice Lachance of Nashua, and
One sister; Gabrielle Ouellette of Nashua
Also several nieces, nephews and cousins.

SERVICES:   There are no calling hours. A Graveside Service will be held at the St. Louis Cemetery, 752 West Hollis St., Nashua, NH on Saturday July 23, 2011 at 9:30 AM. All are invited to meet at the cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Genesis Healthcare Resident Council, Attn: George Wesche, Activities Department, 677 Court Street, Keene, NH 03431.
