OBITUARY: ARTHUR C. ROY
Arthur C. Roy, 84, of Nashua passed away Friday June 18, 2010, at his home.
Arthur was born in Millinocket, ME on June 7, 1926, a son of the late Charles & Rose (Deshant) Roy. He was the husband of Joyce (McGuire) Roy of Nashua.
Arthur was a longtime Nashua resident having been raised by an aunt in St. Ontanage, Canada. As a young man, Arthur had owned a logging company in Maine. He enjoyed boating, going to his camp and woodworking, having built part of his home. Arthur was a communicant of St. Patrick Church. He was predeceased by three daughters, Nancy Roy, Jacqueline Jones and Nancy Cook, two sons, Arthur “Conrad” Roy and Jason Roy, his first wife, Leah (Fortier) Roy and an infant daughter, Leah Roy.
Besides his wife of 39 years, Arthur is survived by;
Six sons; Leonard Roy and his wife Heather of Campton, Michael Roy and his wife Sharon of Hudson, Jimmy Roy of Nashua, Jami Roy and his wife Tammey of Manchester, Joey Roy and his wife Laura of Nashua and Charles Roy II and his wife Stephanie of Manchester
Five daughters; Linda Shirley and her husband Peter of Mont Vernon, Rose Porter and her husband Larry of Woodbridge, VA, Lisa Walden and her husband Peter of Nashua, Jodi Bryson of Manchester and Shelley Beaulieu and her husband Ray of Nashua
36 grandchildren and 24 great grandchildren
Also several nieces, nephews and cousins
SERVICES: Visiting hours will be held on Monday June 21, 2010 from 5 to 7 PM in the Anctil-Rochette & Son Funeral Home, 21 Kinsley St., Nashua. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday June 22, 2010 in St. Patrick Church, 29 Spring St., Nashua at 10:00 AM. Burial will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery.

I will always remember spending time with you at Steel Hill every summer. It is a great childhood memory and I am glad that you were part of it. I love you and miss you.
