Your dad was always one of my favorites every time I visited Laurel Place with my summer camp kids, and the after school program from Library Street School! He ALWAYS had a smile, and so much to share. I especially loved the sincere appreciation he had for the kids who visited, and how he remembered certain ones, always asking about them if they weren't there that day. But what I will always be touched by was the way he so resembled my own dad, who left us in 1999. And how ironic, as the years went by, that I learned one day that your dad KNEW my dad, had gone swimming together as kids in Nahua!
They were from a very special time period, making them extremely special people. It's sad when they leave us, but the memories are there to stay,
and will make you smile when you appreciate how blessed we were to have them in our lives.
Enjoy the memories.
