OBITUARY: GEORGE A. GRAVEL
 

George A. Gravel, 67, of Nashua, passed away Wednesday February 10, 2010, at the Community Hospice House, Merrimack.
George was born in Nashua on April 13, 1942, a son of Evelyn (Corbin) Briand of Nashua and the late Leo S. Gravel.
George had been employed by Sanders Associates and Universal Environmental Technologies as a Senior Engineer. George was a life member of the Nashua Lodge of Elks #720. He was an alumnus of Northeastern University where he graduated with a degree in mechanical engineering. George was handy and could fix anything for anyone.
Besides his mother, George is survived by;
Two daughters; Kimberly Gravel Wood and her husband Thomas of Mammoth Spring, AR and Leslie Gravel of Queens, NY
One granddaughter; Emily Wood
One sister; Anne Orlandi of Medford, MA
Two brothers; Leo Gravel and his wife Nicole of Epsom, NH and Robert Gravel and his wife Theresa of Nashua
Also several nieces, nephews and cousins
SERVICES: Visiting hours will be held on Monday, February 15, 2010 from 6 to 8 PM in the Anctil-Rochette & Son Funeral Home, 21 Kinsley St., Nashua. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday February 16, 2010 in St. Patrick Church, 29 Spring St., Nashua at 10:00 AM. Burial will follow in St. Louis Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in George's name to the Jimmy Fund at www.together4cures.org or to the Community Hospice House, 210 Naticook Rd., Merrimack, NH 03054.
