OBITUARY: RITA ROSE (POITRAS) FORREST


Rita Rose (Poitras) Forrest, 90, of Nashua, passed away on Tuesday February 16, 2010 at Southern NH Medical Center.
Rita was born in Nashua on November 1, 1919 a daughter of the late Napoleon & Rose Anna (Fournier) Poitras. She was the widow of Raymond Forrest who died February 24, 1954.
Rita was a lifelong Nashua resident. She had been an auxiliary member of the VFW Post #483. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren and crocheting. Rita was a communicant of St. Patrick Church. She was predeceased by two sisters; Germaine Moran and Marie Gardner and a brother Romeo Poitras.
Rita is survived by;
One son; Raymond Forrest and his wife Barbara of Merrimack
One daughter; Carolyn Comeau and her husband Gary of Nashua
Four grandchildren; Michael Comeau, Michelle Comeau, Corey Forrest and David Forrest
Five great grandchildren
Also several nieces, nephews, and cousins
 

SERVICES: There are no visiting hours. All services and burial will be held at the convenience of the family.
