Welcome to the memorial page for

Pauline Niemiec

October 23, 1941 ~ September 11, 2015 (age 73) 73 Years Old

OBITUARY : PAULINE (GARON) NIEMIEC

If you had the good fortune of meeting Pauline, you knew rather quickly that se was a woman living life to the beat of a different drum. Calculating and resourceful, she always viewed the glass as half full. She approached challenges with optimism and determination and she never backed down from any obstacle. "There are always possibilities and solutions" she would say.

Pauline could have been a comedian. Her subtle sarcasm and humor always resulted in belly laughs that often made you cry. She was a social butterfly that could strike up a conversation with a total stranger because she believed that everyone was important. She simply loved people. Her childhood friendship with Brenda Kalil of North Conway has stood the test of time for 70 years proving her loyalty and love. Those that knew her are better people for having known her. As if it weren't enough, she made a point of leaving us on September 11th so that no one would forget her, as if we ever could.

The daughter of the late David Garon and Cecile (Desrosier) Kayros, she leaves behind three children and their spouses that she cherished with love, pride and admiration; Richard Bergeron and his wife Cheryl of Jacksonville, FL, Brad Bergeron of Nashua and his dog Daisy, Melissa Munnis and her husband David of Nashua. She cherished her grandchildren; Joshua Leduc and his wife Krystle of Nashua, Timothy Leduc of Nashua, Krystal Bergeron and Alyssa Bergeron both of Jacksonville, FL. (She nicknamed Alyssa 'spuds' because she loved mashed potatoes.) Pauline always made a point of staying in contact with the whether it was a birthday card or a phone call. If she called you then you better plan on being on the phone for a while. She always had a lot to say.

She loved animals immensely, having rescued and owning numerous dachshunds along with other dogs and cats. Her license plate "Doxie" said it all. It's for this reason that she would wish for donations to be made in her name to the Humane Society of Greater Nashua, 24 Ferry Rd., Nashua, NH 03064, in lieu of flowers.

Her family celebrates her life and is thankful to have had her in theirs. Sunrises and sunsets will never be the same, but Pauline will always be a part of them.

SERVICES: Visiting hours will be held on Friday, September 18, 2015 from 6 to 8 PM in the Anctil-Rochette & Son Funeral Home, 21 Kinsley St., Nashua. Burial will take place at the convenience of the family.
