Litchfield, N.H. – Vincent Kanhai-Singh, age 66, died peacefully at his home on Sunday morning, November 8th 2015, with family by his side. Vinnie endured a long battle against stage 4 cancer and made us all proud with the amount of courage, strength and positivity he possessed.

Vinnie was born in Tortuga, Trinidad in the West Indies and was the son of Hari Narine and Sumatia Ramkir.

He grew up in Trinidad and came to the United States on October 20th, 1970 on a student visa to further his education. He attended the Abbe Institute in New York majoring in Psycology with a minor in Business. For many years he was employed by Digital Equipment Corp. as an Inventory Control Manager. When Digital closed he shared his knowledge elsewhere. Vinnie was predeceased by his parents and his beloved sister Mary Candelaria.

He is survived by his soulmate of 30 years; Sonya Crayton of Litchfield, a son Vincent K. Kanhai-Singh and his Fiance, Lisa Guertin of Nashua, N.H.; a daughter Camille Scannell and her husband, Fred of Augusta, Me.; his two granddogs that he adored, Toro and Cosmo and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and an amount of family and acquaintances that would be impossible to list individually.

SERVICES: Visiting hours will be held on Saturday November 14, 2015 from 10 AM to 12 PM in the Anctil-Rochette & Son Funeral Home, 21 Kinsley St., Nashua.
