Christina Perez Obituary

It is with profound sadness to announce the passing of our beloved daughter, Christina Marie Perez, who passed at her home on March 5th 2024, due to complications from diabetes.

Christina was born in Springfield, Missouri on August 26th, 1979. Her family moved to Lincoln, Nebraska (where she formed her love for Cornhuskers Football and formed an unbreakable bond with her cousin Yoli) and then to Merrimack, NH where she proudly boasted about winning the third-grade spelling bee, and graduated from Merrimack High School, class of 1997. This is where she met her lifelong friends Erin (Hogan) St. Jean, Mandy Benjamin and Shannon Spence.

Christina has been employed at Triangle Credit Union for almost 18 years. She has spent the last 14 years as Head Teller at the Amherst Street Branch. Christina took great pride in developing relationships with the members, who she always made feel like family. Although she will be missed by the members, her co-workers will feel the biggest void. You would never know she was at worked based on the amount of laughter that went on most of the day. Christina’s side jokes and innuendoes always kept the crew in tears, especially when one of them had to take a trip to Lowe’s. She was known for her quick wit, sharp comebacks and a great laugh that could change your mood instantly. Her sneezes came without warning and have been measured on the Richter Scale.

Christina’s zest for life was infectious. She had a compassionate soul and a gentle, calm way about her. She was so funny and sarcastic you could not help but laugh being around her. Christina loved showering her family and friends with heartfelt gifts. She took great pride in her Native American heritage and shared the most interesting stories about her family on the Reservation.

In her free time, Christina enjoyed watching silly movies, mindless TV and making great conversation with the regulars at her favorite local establishments. She also enjoyed a good hot and dirty martini.

Family was everything to Christina. Hanging out with her parents Rudy and Carol were some of the best times of her life. They laughed at anything and everything together. She could always count on them for their wisdom and advice. Christina loved spending time with her sister Elana, her fiancé Karl and their son Louis. Louis was her pride and joy. She doted over him and loved being Tia.

In addition to her parents Rudy and Carol Ann (Lincoln) Perez, she is survived by her sister Elana Perez, fiancé Karl Kammann, nephew Louis Perez; as well as her adopted family Kim and Dante Laurendi and their children Kaitlyn and Thomas and their dog Lincoln, whom Christina adored. She is also survived by her aunts, uncles, cousins and extended family members in Nebraska, California, Virginia and Georgia.

Christina will be greatly missed by all that knew and loved her.
