Security in knowing:

  • Your wishes are known and will be followed
  • Survivors will be relieved of the burdensome decisions that must be made at the time of death
  • You can make choices now that are flexible enough to allow changes
  • That you can finance your funeral preferences in advance

There are several ways to fund your pre-need plans, all of which protect you against inflation and price increases. They are:

  • Forethought Life Insurance
  • Columbian Mutual Life
  • ACA Insurance

These are specifically designed to pay for your customized plans at death. Depending on your age, you may be able to choose among single, 3-year, 5-year, or 10-year payment plans.

  • A Trust through Interment Trust Services
  • NH Master Trust.

There are two ways to use this service, the first way is to make payment in full. The funds earn interest at a rate designed to protect against any loss in the future. The second way to utilize the Trust is to make installment payments. All monies deposited will immediately earn interest at a rate to exceed inflation.

This is an irrevocable trust similar to those of the insurances. Interest is gained to help offset inflation.

You may also simply decide to establish your plans but use existing resources at the time to pay for them however, the costs will increase, and your family will pay current prices:

  • Life insurance proceeds can be used.
  • Savings and/or other assets can be used.
