Agnes B. (Devaney) Havens

Agnes B (Devaney) Havens of New Port Richey FL left us suddenly on May 24, 2019, with her beloved husband of 43 years John E. Havens by her side.   In addition to John Agnes is also survived by her daughters, Deborah Brewin, Linda Marquis and her husband Paul and Sandra Leith and her husband Dennis all of Nashua along with her granddaughter Jaclyn McIver and her husband Scott of Merrimack, NH and grandson Richard Marquis of Nashua.   Agnes was also Stepmother to John’s children including John Havens and his wife Suzanne of Raymond NH, Peter Havens and his wife Sharon of  Brookline   NH, Michael Havens and his wife Colleen of Burgaw NC and Corrine Scanlon and her husband Ed of Manchester, NH and several additional grandchildren,  great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.   Agnes was pre-deceased by her son Joseph Ingersoll and step-daughter Kristine Price.  Agnes was born in Cambridge MA on November 27, 1934 where she resided for many years before moving to Nashua after marrying John and later retiring to New Port Richey in 1998.   She was a dedicated member of Our Lady Queen of Peace Parish and a caregiver and friend to many residents of her community.  Agnes often provided emotional support, transportation and occasional meals to her friends in the park.  An avid reader and crossworder she loved spending time on the sunporch.   A lover of the slots John and Agnes made many memorable vacation trips to Biloxi MI.   Blessed with many friends and family members, Agnes will be remembered fondly and missed by all.

Visiting hours will be held on Wednesday, June 12 from 4 to 7 PM in the Anctil-Rochette & Son Funeral Home, 21 Kinsley St., Nashua.  Her Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Thursday, June 13 at 10:00 AM in St. Joseph the Worker Parish, 777 West Hollis St., Nashua.  Everyone is invited to please meet at the church.  In lieu of flowers, please consider making a contribution to any charity of your choice.
