HUDSON- Alice J. “Jan” DiBerto, 58, died peacefully at her home on Thursday, February 1, 2018. She is the beloved wife of John DiBerto.

Jan was born in Lowell on August 12, 1960 and was the daughter of the late James and Mary (O’Connell) Stirling. She attended schools in the Lowell School System and graduated from Lowell High School.

For many years, she was employed by Associated Home Care in Beverly, MA.

In her free time, Jan enjoyed puzzles, playing Bingo and trips to Foxwoods. She also enjoyed Rick’s Whoppie Pies, which were her favorite. Above all, her most cherished time was spent with her loving family, especially her grandchildren.

In addition to her husband John of Hudson, she is survived by her two daughters, Michelle DiBerto of Chelmsford, MA and Kayla DiBerto of Tewksbury, MA; her son John DiBerto of Belmont, NH; her two grandchildren Blake Owen and Vivian Rose. She is also survived by her two brothers, James Stirling and his partner David LeCyuer of Methuen, MA and Thomas Stirling of Jacksonville, FL; her two sisters Debra Ward and her husband William of Jacksonville, FL, Theresa Marquis and her husband Norm of Tyngsboro, MA as well as her aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Jan was predeceased by her brother George Stirling.

Relatives and friends are invited to her visitation on WEDNESDAY, February 7th from 3 until 7 PM at ANCTIL-ROCHETTE & SON FUNERAL HOME, 21 Kinsley Street, Nashua. Her Funeral Service will take place during the visitation at 6:30PM. Burial will take place at the convenience of her family. Jan's visitation has been postponed due to the impending snow storm.
