Obituary – Barbara Buckley

NASHUA- Barbara J. Buckley of Nashua, NH, died Monday, August 28, 2017 at her home.

Barbara was born in Belmont, Massachusetts and was the daughter of the late Leo John Hopkins and Mary Ellen (Butchard) Hopkins.

She graduated from Belmont High School and Fay Secretarial School in Boston. She was employed by Dussault Engineering for many years as an executive secretary.

She was an avid reader and had a range of musical tastes from Bon Jovi to Celtic Thunder.  She also enjoyed watching NASCAR, college basketball and professional tennis and she was very passionate about the preservation of wolves and loved the New England Patriots.

She is survived by her two daughters Dawn Demers and her husband Jean of Litchfield, NH and Robin Buckley and her husband Gary Rodrigues of Marshfield, MA. She is also survived by her brother David R. Hopkins and his wife Gloria as well as his family of St. Augustine, FL, along with many nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her daughter, Jennifer Buckley, her brothers, Leo R. Hopkins of Napa, CA; Gerald J. Hopkins of Davie, FL; Robert K. Hopkins of Belmont, MA; Captain Clifford D. Hopkins of Virginia Beach, VA; and her sister Carol Ann Hopkins of Worcester, MA.
