NASHUA—Brian K. LaFrance Sr., age 53, of Nashua, NH died peacefully at Merrimack Hospice House on February 21, 2019 after a courageous battle with cancer.
He was born on April 17, 1965 in Nashua, NH, a son of the late Hormidas “Mitty” Rodier and Theresa (Tidd) LaFrance.
Mr. LaFrance was educated in the Nashua school system, and was last employed by Crisp Contracting of Nashua, NH. He also worked closely with his uncle, Michael Tidd for Soucy’s Moving Company in Nashua. Brian enjoyed sports, especially football, where his favorite team was the New England Patriots. Brian was an accomplished horse-shoe player and patient teacher. He supported the NH School System by playing the Lottery and buying scratch-tickets.
Brian was a member of the National Club and the Polish Club, and was an APA Pool League Player, sponsored by Slades of Nashua. Brian enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his son Brian Jr., and was a loving father, husband, brother and friend to everyone.
Family members include his beloved son, Brian K. LaFrance, Jr., and his friend and former wife Jeanette LaFrance, Mr. and Mrs. Randy (CiCi) Twardsoky, Mr. and Mrs. Mark (Marlene) Guerrette, Mr. and Mrs. David (Linda) LaFrance, Michael LaFrance, and Mrs. Justino (Pamela S.) Izquiredo, and many loving nieces, nephews, and extended family. He was predeceased by his nephew Andrew S. “Andy” LaFrance in 2004.
A special thank you to the staff of Merrimack Hospice House for their loving care and support during Brian’s final days. Also, the family would like to extend their sincerest gratitude towards Anctil-Rochette Funeral Home for being very accommodating during this difficult time.
A graveside service will be held at St. Francis Xavier Cemetery in Nashua on April 17, 2019 at 11 A.M.
