Cecile (Lafrance) Paradis

NASHUA- Cecile (Lafrance) Paradis, 92, a lifelong resident of Nashua, died peacefully Monday, December 23, 2019, at Mount Carmel Nursing Home in Manchester surrounded by her loving family. She was the beloved wife of the late Bertrand A. Paradis who predeceased her on March 6, 1992.

Cecile was born in Nashua on June 8, 1927 and was the daughter of the late Joseph and Andrea (Rioux) Lafrance.

For many years, Cecile was employed by Sprague Electric and Sanders Association as a production operator until her retirement.

In her free time Cecile enjoyed spending time with her family, traveling, golfing & bowling.

She is survived by her two daughters, Patricia Paradis and Deborah Paradis of Litchfield, her two sons, Dennis Paradis and his wife Louise of Litchfield and Russell Paradis and his wife Elizabeth of Nashua; her five grandchildren, Christopher Paradis, Stephanie Fraser and her husband Jamie, William Paradis and his wife Erika, Timothy Paradis, and Ashley Duquette and her husband Jacob; seven great-grandchildren; her two sisters, Lorraine Parker of Bow,  and Simone Lafrance of Nashua, her brother, Roland Lafrance of New Mexico, and her sister-in-law, Jane Lafrance of Nashua; as well as several nieces and nephews.

Cecile was predeceased by her sisters, Fern Theriault, Annette Gagne, and Connie Riviere and her brothers Bertrand Lafrance, Conrad Lafrance, Ronald Lafrance and Raymond Lafrance.

At the request of Cecile’s family, all services will be held privately. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Cecile’s name to the Alzheimer’s Association 225 N. Michigan Avenue, Floor 17, Chicago, IL 60601 or to Mount Carmel Nursing Home, 235 Myrtle Street, Manchester, NH 03104. Arrangements under the care of ANCTIL-ROCHETTE & SON FUENRAL HOME.
