MANCHESTER—Eleanor (Boucher) Ciardelli, 85, passed away peacefully on February 16, 2019 surrounded by her family.
Born in Nashua on February 19, 1933, she was a daughter of the late Edward and Melina (Duprey) Boucher. Eleanor was the widow of Mario Eugene Ciardelli who died July 9, 2000.
Eleanor was a 1951 graduate of St. Louis de Gonzague High School where she developed lifelong friendships. Those friends continued to gather for annual reunions. She was a devoted wife, mother and homemaker who loved to cook and bake for her family and friends.
Eleanor is survived by her two sons Christopher Ciardelli of Wilton and Craig Ciardelli and his wife Geralyn of Nashua; one daughter, Carla Ciardelli and her husband Kyle Sipples of St. Johnsbury, VT; five grandchildren, Anthony, Nathaniel, Bailey, Henry and Nicholas; two sisters, Gloria Caron of Nashua and Claudette Lavigne and her husband Norbert of Burlington, VT; a brother-in-law, Gary Ciardelli and his wife Mev of Wilton as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins and beloved friends.
There are no visiting hours. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday February 20, 2019 in St. Louis de Gonzague, 48 West Hollis St., Nashua at 10:00 AM. Burial will take place in St. Louis Cemetery in the spring. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the American Lung Association at www.lung.org.
