I am so sorry to hear about Eric's passing. No parent should have to plan their child's funeral. My heart feels your pain and I am at a loss for words to comfort you. As you know my brother Randy lost his daughter in 2016 and it was the most devestating time of our lives. I didn't know Eric well but he was always kind to me when in middle school and high school. I'll remember his smile and how he would try to make me laugh. He was a very kind hearted human and he touched my life and made an impact even though it was long ago and I didn't know him well. Just thought you should know he was the type of person who saw someone who was shy and being picked on and instead of joining in, he chose to be super nice, make conversation, and get me to smile.
