OBITUARY -- FLORENCE R. SURETTE

NASHUA- Florence R. (Tremblay) Surette, 83, passed away peacefully Monday, February 11th at Southern New Hampshire Medical Center surrounded by her loving family. She was the beloved wife of the late Paul B. Surette who predeceased her on February 28, 2015. Florence and Paul shared and celebrated 50 years of marriage four months prior to his passing.

Florence was born in Lowell, MA on October 10, 1935 and was the daughter of the late Albert Tremblay and Vera (McPhee) Tremblay. She attended and graduated from Stoneham High School in Stoneham, MA.

In her free time she enjoyed sewing and knitting. Florence also loved to cook especially meals for her family but above all her most cherished time was spent with her family.

She is survived by her three daughters, Heidi Surette of Nashua, Julie Palazzo and her companion Craig Fenlason of Nashua and Amy Kench of New Hampshire; her three grandchildren, Alyssa Palazzo and her husband Evin DeCarteret, Matthew Palazzo and Samuel Kench. She is also survived by her sister, Helen Yianacopolus of Billerica, MA as well as many nieces and nephews.

Florence was predeceased by her sister Louise Hughes.

Relatives and friends are invited to Florence's visitation on SUNDAY, February 17th from 1 until 3 PM at ANCTIL-ROCHETTE FUNERAL HOME, 21 Kinsley Street, Nashua. Her Funeral Service will follow in the Funeral Home at 3 PM. Burial will take place at the convenience of her family. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Florence’s name to the Educational Farm at Joppa Hill, 174 Joppa Hill Road, Bedford, NH 03110.
