OBITUARY – FLORETTE LAMOTHE

NASHUA- Florette Lamothe, 81, died peacefully Wednesday evening, April 4, 2018 at Courville Nursing Home in Nashua. She was the beloved wife of the late Leo Paul Lamothe.

Florette was born in Nashua on January 26, 1937 and was the daughter of the late George and Edith (Marquis) Belanger.

For many years, Florette was employed in the assembly department at the former Lockhead/Sanders and now known as BAE.

In her free time, Florette enjoyed gardening. She was an avid animal lover, especially for cats and dogs. Florette will forever be remembered as a kind, caring, and quick witted person. She was always willing to help anyone in need and she truly loved and cared for her family.

Florette is survived by her sister, Jeanne D’Arc Vaillancourt of Nashua and her brother, Wilfred Belanger and his wife Alice of Nashua as well as several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her husband, she was predeceased by her daughter, Donna Anne Marie Lamothe; as well as her siblings, Estelle Rodier, Gertrude Bechard, Lorette Jette and her husband Paul, Maurice Belanger, Armand Belanger, Roland Belanger, Robert Belanger, Margaret Belanger, and Rachel Bosse; as well as her brother-in-law, Rene Vaillancourt.

Relatives and friends are invited to her visitation on WEDNESDAY, April 11th from 5 until 8 PM at ANCTIL-ROCHETTE & SON FUNERAL HOME, 21 Kinsley Street, Nashua. Her Funeral will take place on THURSDAY, April 12th at 10 AM in St. Louis Church, 48 W. Hollis Street, Nashua. Interment to follow in St. Louis Cemetery, Nashua. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Florette’s name to Home, Health, and Hospice, 7 Executive Park Drive, Merriamack, NH 03054.
