Madbury--Gerald C. Dube Sr., 84, went home to our Lord surrounded by his loving family on January 17, 2020, at the Carriage Hill Assisted Living in Madbury, NH.

He was the beloved husband of Janet L. (Mercier) Dube for 61 years but, his heart was broken when he lost her on March 19, 2019.

Gerald was born in Nashua on December 9, 1935 to the late Theodore and Ida (Bissonnette) Dube.  He grew up in Litchfield, NH and was a graduate of Nashua High School, class of 1955.  Following his education, he worked for the Card Shop (Nashua Corporation) as a design artist.  Gerald joined the Nashua Police Department and retired as a Lieutenant after 11 years.  He later took over his father’s business, Ted Dube’s Waste Removal which he ran until he retired.

He was a lifelong member of the Nashua Elks Club, he loved golfing, watching his favorite New England sports teams, especially the Patriots, and he was a big fan of TV Game Shows.  He enjoyed his home in Spring Hill, Florida for over 20 years and would make the trip back to NH for the summers.  He especially enjoyed spending time with his family and so many good friends.
