Gerard Levesque Obituary

NASHUA- Gerard A. Levesque, 77, died peacefully, Sunday, February 18, 2018 at his home; surrounded by his loving family. Gerard is the beloved husband of Dorothy (Orleans) Levesque.

He was born in Nashua on May 2, 1940 and was the son of the late Thomas and Imelda (Morin) Levesque. Gerard proudly served his country in the United States Air Force until he was honorably discharged in July of 1964.

For many years, he was employed by UPS as a driver until his retirement.

In his free time he enjoyed bicycling and was also an avid sports fan. In his younger years, Gerard played in the Red Sox farm system. Above all his most cherished time was spent with his family, especially his grandchildren.

In addition to his wife, Dorothy, he is survived by his two daughters, Leanne McDowell and her husband Kevin of Leominster and Danielle Levesque of Manchester; his son, Keith Levesque of Nashua; his two grandchildren, Joseph Levesque and Abbi McDowell. He is also survived by his two brothers-in-law, Ken Donnelly of Las Vegas, NV and Maurice Lachance of Nashua; and his sister-in-law, Jeannette Levesque of Hudson and many cousins, nieces, and nephews.

Gerard was predeceased by his sisters, Juliette Donnelly and Alice Lachance and his brothers Paul Levesque and Thomas “Pete” Levesque and his wife Carmel.

Relatives and friends are invited to his visitation on WEDNESDAY, February 28th from 5 until 8 PM at ANCTIL-ROCHETTE & SON FUNERAL HOME, 21 Kinsley Street, Nashua. His Funeral Mass will be held on THURSDAY, March 1st at 10 AM in Infant Jesus Church/St. John XXIII Parish, 121 Allds Street, Nashua, NH. Burial will take place at a later date in the New Hampshire Veteran Cemetery, Boscawen, NH. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Gerard’s name to the Alzheimer’s Association National Capital Area, 8180 Greensboro Drive, Suite 400, Mclean, VA 22102.
