NASHUA- Helga (Pollex) Courtemanche, 71, died peacefully, Sunday morning, June 24, 2018 at the Community Hospice House in Merrimack surrounded by her loving family. She is the beloved wife of Roland Courtemanche.
Helga was born in Augsburg, Germany on June 30, 1946 and was the daughter of the late Erika Frank.
In her free time, Helga was an avid Bingo player. She attended many Bingo games at the Community Bingo Center in Manchester as well as Eagle’s Wings in Nashua. Helga also truly loved her family and always made them a priority even helping as a caretaker for grandchildren who live local. She was an absolute matriarch of her family and will deeply be missed however her love will forever be present.
In addition to her husband, Roland, she is survived by her two children, Christine Tyler and her husband Donald of Hudson and Thomas Courtemanche and his wife Melanie of Bristol, CT; her four grandchildren, Jennifer Johnston and her husband Matthew of Fayetteville, NC, Chad Maskiewicz of Hudson, and Jacob and Lucas Courtemanche of Bristol, CT; her two step-grandchildren, Christopher Tyler and Emily Tyler. She is also survived by her sister, Erika Zoerle of Diedorf, Germany as well as many nieces and nephews.
Helga was predeceased by her brother-in-law, Gunter Zoerle.
Relatives and friends are invited to Helga’s visitation on FRIDAY, June 29th from 4 until 7 PM at ANCTIL-ROCHETTE & SON FUNERAL HOME, 21 Kinsley Street, Nashua. Her Funeral Mass will be held on SATURDAY, June 30th at 10 AM in Immaculate Conception Church, 216 E. Dunstable Road, Nashua. Interment to follow in St. Louis Cemetery, Nashua. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Community Hospice House, 7 Executive Park Drive, Merrimack, NH 03054.
