VIRGINIA- Henry J. Lachance, 88, died peacefully Saturday, October 5, 2019, at Our Lady of Hope Health Center in Richmond, VA, with his daughter Karen, and son-in-law Peter by his side.

The beloved husband of the late Elaine R. (Caron) Lachance, Henry was born in Nashua, NH, on June 21, 1931, to Henri and Lucille (Valliere) Lachance.

An avid Yankees, Giants, and Canadiens fan, Henry enjoyed following and watching sports of all kind. He also enjoyed many hobbies, including watching classic movies, cultivating his large vegetable garden, and reading and sharing several newspapers daily, although he made it known he was not a chicken doctor. In his later years, Henry especially enjoyed participating in the local cribbage league, and playing dominoes with his friend Anita during his time at Our Lady of Hope Health Center.
