Henry P. Michaud

Henry Michaud, 78, of Hudson, NH passed away on June 16, 2019 after a brief illness.

Henry was born October 30, 1940 in Ste. Modeste, Quebec, Canada, son of the late Joseph and Berthe (Lebel) Michaud.

He came to the United States in 1960 and proudly became a Citizen in 1966. Henry resided in Hudson NH for 51 years. He met the love of his life, Constance Roussel in 1962. They were married on May 4, 1963.

He started his career at IMPCO/Ingersoll-Rand/Beloit as a machinist and retired after 33 years. His motto was, “Somebody made it, so I can fix it!” He kept busy in retirement fixing small engines and camping at Hidden Valley Campground, but what he valued most was the friendships he formed along the way.  He had a strong Catholic faith and supported the local church communities.  He was an incredible man and will be sorely missed. He was predeceased by his son Daniel, and his brothers John and Clement.

Henry is survived by his loving family: wife Constance, son George, son Paul and daughter-in-law Danielle, daughter Amy and son-in-law Michael Kryskow. Brothers Louis and wife Jeanne (Tardif), Benoit and wife Leona (Fournier), Armand and wife Agathe (Emard), and Adelbert and wife Suzanne (St-Amour), Sisters Pierrette and husband Jean-Francois Levesque, and Marie-Paul,  Sisters-in-law Germaine Michaud, Bee Gagne, and Drinelle St-Pierre. Grandson Remy and wife Kate, Granddaughters Mariah and husband Christopher Benoit, Amanda and fiancé Nathan Baldwin, Kendra, and Adalie and Klara Kryskow, Great-grandsons Brayden, John, and Ryland Benoit, Numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends.

We would like to especially thank those who cared for him during his illness.

Relatives and friends are welcome to join the Michaud Family on SATURDAY, June 22nd for a short receiving period beginning at 9:15 AM in St. Louis de Gonzague Church, 48 West Hollis Street, Nashua. His Funeral Mass will follow at 10 AM in the church.  Burial in St. Francis Xavier Cemetery, Nashua.  In lieu of flowers, please donate in Henry’s name to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital or NH Food Bank.
