Herve was born in Nashua, New Hampshire on April 24, 1929.  Herve was the son of the late Mitchell and Beatrice Lavoie.  Herve was married to his loving wife, Cecile Lavoie, on January 1, 1948. They enjoyed 59 years of marriage until Cecile's passing in 2007.

Herve was a hard worker, where he began his career in California in hospitality management. Herve influenced many people to help them better their lives. He lived the '"pay it forward" life, and knew that he was blessed every day. He was a selfless man; his family and friends will remember him by his positive attitude and outlook on life. He would, and will always still remind us, "It's a beautiful day!".

He is also survived by his nine grandchildren, Amanda, Tori, Karen, Sherri, Matt, Ally, Kimberly, Tom, and Jennifer; as well as several great-grandchildren. Herve is also survived by one brother, Leo Lavoie and his wife Lorraine.

Herve was preceded in death by his loving daughter, Diane Towle and by his son, Harvey Lavoie.

Visitation will be held from 9 AM until 10 AM on Wednesday, December 27th at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 777 West Hollis Street, in Nashua.  Following the visitation, the funeral mass will begin at 10AM at the same location. Burial will follow the funeral mass in St. Louis Cemetery, Nashua. Funeral arrangements are entrusted to Anctil-Rochette & Son Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be given to Home Health and Hospice, Community Hospice House, C/O Development Office, 7 Executive Park Drive, Merrimack, NH 03054
