Irene M. Lowe

Irene M. Lowe, 86, died peacefully, Friday afternoon, May 4, 2018 at Greenbriar Terrace Healthcare in Nashua. She was the beloved wife of the late Malcolm "Mike" Lowe, who predeceased her on August 6, 2009.

Irene was born in Woonsocket, Rhode Island on June 4, 1931. She was the oldest of seven children of the late Aldor and Alice (Turgeon) Carriere.

For many years, she was employed at Southern New Hampshire Medical Center as a medical technician until her retirement.

In her free time, she enjoyed being a member of the New Hampshire Rose Society and spending time with her grandchildren.

Irene is survived by her son, Steven E. Lowe of Nashua; her son-in-law, Jose Sanchez of Texas; her four grandchildren, Alicia and Ezra Sanchez of Texas; and Emrys Lowe and his wife, Jolonda of Whitman Mass.; Juniper Lowe of Nashua; and a great-grandson, Elijah Lowe of Whitman, Mass. Irene is also survived by her brothers Leo Carriere and his wife Estelle of North Smithfield, RI and Normand Carriere of Slatersville, RI; as well as her sisters Rose Marie Branconnier and her husband Peter of North Smithfield, RI and Jeannine Rapko and her husband Steve of Franklin, MA; as well as many nieces and nephews.  In addition to her husband, Irene was predeceased by her daughter, Sandra Lowe Sanchez; her brother, Raymond R. Carriere; and her sister Pauline Baril.

Relatives and friends are invited to her Funeral Mass on WEDNESDAY, May 9th at 11:30 AM in Immaculate Conception Church, 216 E Dunstable Road, Nashua. Interment to follow in Edgewood Cemetery, Nashua.
