Joan G. (Morissette) Anastasiou

NASHUA-Joan G. (Morissette) Anastasiou, 76, of Nashua passed away peacefully on Tuesday, July 9, 2019 at Bridges by Epoch, surrounded by her loving family. She was the beloved wife of the late William Anastasiou who predeceased her on January 12, 2014.

Joan was born in Nashua, NH on April 21, 1943, a daughter of the late Lionel and Shirley (Erb) Morissette

During her lifetime, Joan was a self-employed hairdresser at Joan’s Beauty Salon. She was a member of St. Philip’s Greek Orthodox Church for many years where she belonged to the Ladies Society of Agape.

Joan was predeceased by a brother; Robert Morissette, four brothers-in-law; James Kalaris, Norbert Marquis, Theopholus Tsacoumis and John Anastasiou, a siter-in-0law; Filomena Tsacoumis

She is survived by one son, John Anastasiou and his wife Milvia of New Boston; one daughter, Kim Anastasiou of Nashua; one sister, Claire Marquis of Florida, four grandchildren; Noah, Arabella, Jayden and Deacon, two sisters-in-law; Georgia Kalaris of Alexandria, VA and Maureen Anastasiou of Hudson, as well as several nieces and nephews

A period of visitation will be held on FRIDAY, July 12th beginning at 10 AM in St. Philip Greek Orthodox Church, 500 W. Hollis Street, Nashua. Services will begin at 11 AM.  Interment will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery, Nashua.
