John David Badeau Obituary

NASHUA—John David Badeau, age 58, passed away at Southern New Hampshire Medical Center, on February 20, 2019, surrounded by his loving family.

Born in Nashua on June 22, 1960, he was a son of the late Edgar and Elizabeth (Thompson) Badeau.  He was the beloved companion of Roberta Downing for over 18 years. 

John worked for many years for the Bellivance Beverage Company following his education.  In his free time though he enjoyed playing guitar, boating and fishing.  He was a great cook who loved making healthy dishes from his home garden, and his holiday pies were greatly anticipated by friends and family every year.  He also loved riding motorcycles, taking a solo cross country trip in 2010.  Above all else though, John loved his family, and spending time with them was the greatest joy of his life.

Besides his beloved companion and her son Matthew Downing of Nashua; John is survived by his brother Roy Badeau of Berlin, MA; his niece Katelyn Badeau of Oregon; his two nephews, Ben and Nathan Badeau of Florida, as well as many cousins and friends.

John was the loving brother of the late Paul Badeau and Peter Badeau, and uncle of the late Heather Badeau and Jamie Badeau.

Friends and family are invited to call at the ANCTIL-ROCHETTE and SON FUNERAL HOME, 21 Kinsley St, Nashua, on Sunday, February 24 from 1 p.m. until 3 p.m.  As an expression of sympathy, donations may be made in John’s honor to The American Diabetes Association, 260 Cochituate Road #200, Framingham, MA 01701.
