NASHUA- Lorette ‘Belanger’ Jette, 81, died peacefully Tuesday, February 6, 2018 at St. Joseph Hospital in Nashua; surrounded by her loving family. Lorette was the beloved wife of the late Leo P. Jette who predeceased her in June of 2006.

Lorette was born in Nashua on January 26, 1937 and was the daughter of the late George and Edith (Marquis) Belanger.

She was an exceptionally kind women, with a soft voice, a sweet smile and laugh, with a great mind for food. In her free time, she enjoyed to cook and taught her boys and grandchildren to prepare the families most loved recipes. She devoted her life and love to caring for others. She loved nature, birds and animals, “she could make a dead plant come back to life”. She was always the loving motherly figure to many and made sure to always put others ahead of herself. Above all, her most cherished time was spent with her family, especially with her grandchildren, where she was a wonderful and loving grandmother. Christmas and Thanksgiving were her favorites, where she would decorate and cook feasts, for family Holiday Gatherings. She was a devoted philanthropists, who gave much to those in need, though she may have had little herslf.

Lorette is survived by her three sons Donald Jette and his wife Denise of Nashua, Dennis Jette and his wife Sherry of Nashua, and Bruce Jette of Nashua; her 10 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren; as well as her two sisters Jeanne Vaillancourt of Nashua and Florette Lamothe of Nashua; and her brother, Wilfred Belanger and his wife Alice of Nashua.

Relatives and friends are invited to her visitation on SUNDAY, February 11th from 3 until 7 PM at ANCTIL-ROCHETTE & SON FUNERAL HOME, 21 Kinsley Street, Nashua. Her Funeral Mass will be held on MONDAY, February 12th at 10 AM in St. Joseph the Worker Parish, 777 W Hollis Street, Nashua. Interment to follow in St. Louis Cemetery, Nashua.
