Lorraine R. Dube

NASHUA—Lorraine R. Dube, age 92, passed away at St. Joseph’s Hospital on December 31, 2018, surrounded by her loving family.  She was the beloved wife of Paul Dube, with whom she spent 68 years of marriage.

Born in Lowell, MA on January 11, 1926, she was a daughter of the late Alphonse and Alice (Charron) Brule.  Following her marriage, she lived in Tewksbury for many years, and attended daily mass during her time there.    

Lorraine loved watching the Red Sox and crocheting in her free time.  She took pleasure in watching and tending to the birds in her garden.  Above all else though, Lorraine was a devoted wife, mother and friend.  She enjoyed reminiscing about her travels, especially the trips she and Paul took to visit their daughter.  She loved spending time with her children and grandchildren, and watching them grow.  Lorraine dedicated her life to tending to the needs of her home and her beautiful family.    

Besides her loving husband, she is survived by her son Gerald Dube of VT; her two daughters Donna Dube of Lowell and Nancy Cox and her husband Brian of Nashua; her seven grandchildren, Andrea Dube, David Dube and his wife Adria Dube, Diego Martin and his wife Jenny Dube, Adam Cox, Brandon Cox, Cameron Cox and Cassidy Cox; her five great-grandchildren, Ian, Colton, Geneva, Isabela and Elizabeth; her sister-in-law Theresa Fitzsimmons and her husband Jim, as well and many nieces, nephews and cousins. 

Lorraine was the sister of the late Raymond Brule and Doris (Brule) Faulkner.

DUBE—Of Nashua, December 31, Lorraine R. Dube, age 92.  Funeral service will be held on Saturday, January 12 at 11 AM, at Immaculate Conception Parish, 216 E Dunstable Rd, Nashua, NH 03062.  At the request of the family, burial will take place at a later date.  As an expression of sympathy, donations may be made in Lorraine’s honor to The Shrine of St. Jude
