NASHUA- Madeline A. Palo, 79, died in peace surrounded by her loving family. She is now reunited with the love of her life, John, once again.
Madeline was born in Dorchester, MA on November 17, 1939 and was the daughter of Theodore Maloney and Madeline (Sheehan) Maloney. She received her education in the Dorchester School System.
Prior to her retirement, she was employed as a para professional for the Nashua School System for many years.
In her free time, Madeline loved baking, she was an avid Red Sox and Patriots fan and she was also a proud breast cancer survivor. Family was most important to Madeline and her pride and joy are her five grandchildren. She truly loved spending time with her family and will be most remembered for her Boston accent, her blue eyes, and her infectious laugh.
Madeline is survived by her two daughters Carolyn Gatchell and her husband William of Newmarket and Trisha Knight and her husband Scott of Amherst; her son, John Palo and his wife Angie of Woodbridge, VA; her grandchildren, Katie Lawrence, Brad Lawrence, Kelsey Knight, Trevor Knight, and Aiden Palo. She is also survived by her sister-in-law Marcia Maloney of Weymouth, MA and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
She was predeceased by her sister Kathleen Cullen and her brother Theodore Maloney.
Relatives and friends are invited to Madeline’s visitation on WEDNESDAY, May 1st from 4 until 7 PM at ANCTIL-ROCHETTE & SON FUNERAL HOME, 21 Kinsley Street, Nashua. Her burial will take place privately in St. Louis Cemetery, Nashua. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Madeline’s memory to The Breast Care Center at St. Joseph Hospital, 172 Kinsley Street, Nashua, NH 03060.
