OBITUARY – MARIE M. BROUSSEAU
Nashua- Marie M. Brousseau, 88, passed away peacefully on Friday, January 4, 2019 at Courville Nursing Home in Nashua, NH. She was the beloved wife of the late Paul H. Brousseau, with whom she shared 60 years of marriage.
She was a life long resident of Nashua, born to the late Emile and Mildred (Belanger) Ouellette.
During her lifetime, Marie was employed by the Green Ridge Turkey Farm, MacMulkin Chevrolet, Hallisey Chevrolet in Lowell and Contemporary Chrysler in Milford. She was a parishioner at Saint Alyosius and participated in the church choir for many years. One of her greatest joys was traveling to Rome with the church choir to sing to Pope John XXIII where she met and was blessed by him.
She enjoyed traveling with her husband and loved to visit Foxwoods and play the slots. Throughout her years, she loved to entertain family in her home. It was always filled with laughter, great food, and card games. Anyone was welcome at any time.
She is survived by her children, Dolores (Dolly) Kennedy of Litchfield, NH, Marc and his wife Tina of Nashua, David and his wife Mary of Bedford, Ronald and his wife Diane of Nashua, and Kenneth and his wife Margaret of Hampton. She also leaves behind eight grandchildren, Sean Kennedy and his wife Kelley of Litchfield, Shannon Cutter and her husband Andrew of Litchfield, Ryan Kennedy and his wife Jenn of Litchfield, Christine Stein and her husband Jamie of Merrimack, Emily Goding and her husband Mike of Nashua, Aaron Brousseau of Nashua, Kim Brousseau of Nashua and Kristen Astrup and her husband Zach of Arizona and one sister, Pam Dube of Shrewsbury, MA. She was also survived by many great-grandchildren, cousins, nieces and nephews who brought her much joy.
Marie was predeceased by her brother Robert Ouellette, her son-in-law Robert Kennedy and her grandson, Brennan Kennedy.
Marie’s family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff at Courville who provided Marie with eight years of loving care and compassion.
Relatives and friends are invited to her visitation on WEDNESDAY, January 9th from 4 until 8 PM at ANCTIL-ROCHETTE & SON FUNERAL HOME, 21 Kinsley Street, Nashua. Her Funeral Mass will be held on THURSDAY, January 10th at 10 AM in St. Louis de Gonzague Church, 48 W. Hollis Street, Nashua. KINDLY MEET AT CHURCH. Interment will follow in St. Louis Cemetery, Nashua.
