NASHUA- Monnette C. (Marquis) LeBlanc, 87, of Nashua, passed away Saturday, April 28, 2018 at Catholic Medical Center from heart complications.
Monnette was born on September 2, 1930 in Nashua, daughter of the late Isidore and Leda (Pinet) Marquis of New Brunswick, Canada. She was raised in Nashua, the youngest of twelve children and remained a lifelong resident of Nashua.
She was the wife of the late Gerry LeBlanc of Nashua, with whom she shared 59 years of marriage.
Monnette attended St. Francis Xavier School and then St. Aloysius of Gonzague School. She was employed as an inspector by Sprague Electric for 41 years.
She is survived by her two sons, Daniel LeBlanc of Nashua and Paul LeBlanc and his wife Diane (Drukenbrod) of Naples, FL, and her son-in-law, Thomas Nutting of Merrimack. She is also survived by her brother Emile Marquis and his wife Yvette of Inverness, FL; her brother-in-law Louis Henry Leblanc Jr. and his wife Pauline; as well as three grandsons and three great-grandsons and several cousins and many nieces and nephews.
Monnette was predeceased by her daughter, Denise Nutting; sisters, Leda Beaulieu, Jeanne Plourde, Cecile Dumais, Aline Marquis, Celine Marquis, Annette Lemay, and Rita Theriault as well as her brothers, Leo Marquis, Maurice Marquis, and Isidore Marquis.
Relatives and friends are invited to her visitation on THURSDAY, May 3rd from 9 until 10 AM in ANCTIL-ROCHETTE & SON FUNERAL HOME, 21 Kinsley Street, Nashua. Her Funeral Mass will be held at 10:30 AM on Thursday in St. Joseph the Worker Parish, 777 W Hollis Street, Nashua. Interment will follow in St. Louis Cemetery, Nashua.
